Hi Reader, Dior had her babies last Monday. Six of them. Three girls and three boys, all healthy, all nursing well, and all currently running my life on a two-hour rotation, which is exactly where I want to be. I want to give you a look at what these first two weeks actually involve, because most people don't get to see this part. Every day, we do some of the most important work in our entire curriculum, and we do it in the exact window where it counts. Newborn puppies can't see. They can't hear. Their eyes and ears stay closed until around two weeks of age. What most people don't realize is that this is precisely when their nervous systems are developing the fastest they ever will, and every minute we spend intentionally engaging them shapes the dog they'll become. That's why we do Early Neurological Stimulation and Early Scent Introduction with each puppy, individually, every single day of those first two weeks. ENS is a set of small, controlled physical exercises that build resilience, stress recovery, and a stronger cardiovascular system. ESI is a daily exposure to a new scent that develops their olfactory system and their ability to process new information calmly. These sound like small things. They aren't. Puppies who go through this early foundational work grow into dogs who handle stress better, learn faster, and adapt more easily to new environments. That's on top of the basics. Every couple of hours around the clock, I check on the puppies. Every day, I weigh each one to make sure they're gaining. I watch Dior closely, because even seasoned mamas need support in the beginning. It's a full schedule, and I love it. This is the season of the program that reminds me why I do this. It's also what makes Divine Pups different, and it's the reason our puppies come out of the nursery the way they do. I wanted to write to you today because a litter arriving is one of my favorite moments in the program. It's when the door opens for a new family. If your heart and home are ready, this is the moment. Right here. Before we know exactly who each of these puppies is, before evaluations, before matching. This is when families come in and start the journey with us. The Expecting List and the Ultimate Match Program are both open for Dior's litter, for boys and girls. Meet them. MEET DIOR'S LITTER — GIRLS —
— BOYS —
Over the next nine weeks, they'll grow into who they are, and we'll walk families through every step of it. If you want to be one of the families walking with us, now is the time to say so.
Welcome to the world, babies. — Ara |
