There's a season when it feels like the whole house is holding its breath, waiting for the puppies to arrive. This is that season.

Four of our mamas are expecting, and all four of their litters will be ready to go home in November.

I want to talk about what saying yes right now actually means, because it's different from what most families expect.

Right now, saying yes doesn't mean picking a puppy. It doesn't mean choosing a specific litter or claiming a pick spot. Those decisions come later, once the puppies are born and we know who they are, and we walk you through the choices as they open.

Saying yes right now means something bigger and simpler. You're saying yes to Divine Pups. Yes to the idea of a future puppy. Yes to starting the journey.

That journey has more to it than most families realize. We spend months preparing our puppies for their families. We also spend that same time preparing our families for their puppies. There's reading to do, questions to work through, a house to get ready, a heart to open. The families who come in early get to walk through all of that with us before their puppy even arrives. And by the time they meet the pup they've been matched with, they've already grown into who they need to be on the other side of that meeting.

That's what being on the Expecting List or the Ultimate Match Program actually is. It's the bridge between saying yes and meeting your puppy. And that bridge is where the real work of becoming a Divine Pups family happens.
